About DeAnn Williams
Personal Trainer | Exercise Instructor | Wellness Advocate
Hi, I'm DeAnn Williams, a certified personal trainer and exercise instructor with a passion for empowering women in their 30s to post-menopausal years to take control of their health and well-being. Fitness has always been a part of my life—I grew up in a home where exercise and nutrition were priorities. However, like many women, I found that as I got older and my metabolism slowed down, my health took a backseat. I struggled with weight gain and tried various programs like Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers, but it wasn't until life presented its own challenges that I truly embraced my health journey. In 2017, I was diagnosed with cancer. This diagnosis was a turning point for me, forcing me to confront my health in a way I never had before. I joined a gym, dove deep into nutrition, and learned how our diet and lifestyle play a significant role in preventing illness. After losing 53 pounds and overcoming several physical setbacks—including ankle injuries, arthritis, and a hamstring pull—I not only regained my health but also gained a new purpose: helping other women navigate the challenges of aging and prioritize their fitness and well-being. Through my certifications with the American Sports and Fitness Association and my ongoing education at the IDEA Personal Trainer Institute, I stay up to date with the latest fitness trends and strategies to best serve my clients. With my background in psychology, I take a holistic approach to health, focusing not just on exercise but also on the mindset shift necessary for long-term success. I work closely with each of my clients to create personalized workout and nutrition plans tailored to their body type and goals, while helping them foster a positive and sustainable relationship with fitness. In addition to my training work, I host annual races and wellness retreats, where I encourage women to connect with their own health journeys and celebrate their progress. Running is one of my greatest passions, and I’m always eager to inspire others to push their limits and reach new heights, whether it’s crossing a finish line or achieving a personal fitness goal. If you're ready to prioritize your health, overcome obstacles, and embrace the journey ahead, I'm here to help you every step of the way.
